Planning, planning and planning

While a new year is upon our family there are a lot of events going on, beginning with Taylor's baptismal. I am trying my hardest to get everything planned ahead of time since having two kids at home and going to school does not leave a lot of time to plan such an event. The majority of attendees are coming from out of town, therefore we have to reserve lodging and get RSVP's to make sure everyone has a decent room at a reasonable price here in Annapolis(which is $$$). I have yet to get the invitations out because I have to wait 90 days prior to the event to book the Bay room, once this is done then the ball can get rolling! I started interviewing bakers because I had seen a cake that was beautiful and I would love to have it at Taylor's baptismal. The only problem? A lot of money for barely any cake? Sorry but our families like to eat and a small cake is not going to flip the bill. The cost was high because we wanted a tier cake, bakers wanted anywhere from $4-$5 a per person....really? What if I want leftover? Ha! Anyhow we are searching to find a place to make us a cake at a little more of a reasonable price. More to come...

Brayden is such a good big brother. He loves his sister and dotes on her all the time. He is very helpful and wants her to be happy at all times. I am extremely relieved that he was not jealous of the time we have to spend taking care of her, since he has been the only child for 4 years. He is loving his first year of preschool, he has a special friend...her name is Cole;) I have my first parent teacher conference on Wed...can not wait to hear what they have to say about my little chatter box! He is anxious for our visit to NY in a few weeks. He wants to play in the snow and go snowmobiling, however in the same breath he says he wants beach weather to come back...LOL...me too buddy...me too!

Taylor is getting soo big and reminds me so much of her brother. She is in 6-9 month clothes and is only 3 months old. It is sad to see her grow so fast, since she is our last baby. She is a happy baby and only cries when she is hungry or tired...she will let a poop sit in her diaper all day long if we let her...good thing we can smell her! Her daily activities she enjoys are jumping in her jumperoo, playing in her bumbo, likes to hold things that cringle like paper and loves Yo Gabba Gabba...lucky us?!?

I went on my diet and have begun exercising so I can lose my baby weight for Dina's wedding in July. Now I just need to get Joey motivated to lose a little as well. Our 10 year wedding anniversary is in February and maybe when we look back at our wedding photos it will give him the umph he needs:)~ Well until then....
