Much needed vacation

It has been a busy couple of weeks, so busy I can not remember it all! A few weeks ago we discovered a baby birds nest under our deck. It was a robins nest with 4 eggs in it. Brayden watched it with great anticipation for the eggs to crack so he could see the birds inside. Finally, after our family from Brooklyn went home we discovered we had baby birds! We could easily see the mother bird feeding the baby birds from our basement window. One morning we went down to check on their progress and we noticed one of the birds had fallen out of the nest, on the dogs side of the fence. With advice from our local bird rescue they recommended putting the bird back into the nest. However, he kept coming out. We tried to feed it ourselves but he was sick and weak, I was hoping to keep him alive until Monday so that we could bring him to the bird rescue, however when we woke up Monday morning he was dead:( Now whenever Brayden sees a birdie that resembles him, he says "mommy that is our birdie, see he is all better."

On June 20th we began our summer vacation. We drove up to NJ for a few nights and were able to spend Father's Day in Brooklyn with Pop and everyone. Brayden loved being around them and playing with them all. Whenever he is there he is the center of attention since he is the only little one around and he is so stinken cute:) We left the boys with Grandma and Grandpa in NJ since my aunt has new kittens and Damien is getting pretty old. Also Damien enjoys being in NJ with them, they have the backyard and lots of yummy treats from Grandpa;) I am sure Uncle Ryan is going to miss them when they are gone...LOL! That Monday we headed to Northern NY to be with my family. This will be my only trip for awhile so I am making it a long one.

So far the first week in Northern NY has been fun and full of entertainment like always. My moms 52nd birthday was in the middle of the week, so we all got together had dinner and a cake for her. We have been spending the majority of the days in the pool and sun, which Brayden loves and has been swimming well with his floaties on. The picture to the right is him posing as the Coppertone sunscreen kid, I think he could make a career of it! Over the weeknd, my aunt Bee Jay had a coed baby shower for me. I recieved a lot of great gifts and it was so nice to get togethe with everyone. We also went to a festival then went over to a friends house and watched fireworks.

I am 25 weeks along now! I went to the doctors the day before I left for NJ and they said that it looked like in my last ultrasound that my placenta is moving away from the cervix opening, which is good news! The babies heartbeat was strong and stable in the upper 140's to lower 150's. They are keeping me on lightduty because of me still being in so much pain. I am hoping that at my next appointment they will give me a referral for a physical therapists. They wanted to wait until I was at least 25 weeks to do that, sooo lets keep our fingers crossed. Still no name for the baby girl, Brayden still insists she will be named Baby Itchy. Joey and I think we are just going to wait until we have her and see what she looks like then name her. So those of you that wished we would of waited and made the sex of the baby a surprise, looks like the name is going to be just that! Well I am off to bed to read my book and hopefully fall asleep before 1 AM! Night all! Last pic I had to squeeze in is of my twin nieces, 8 months old, so adorable!
