Brooklynn meets Maryland

The rain has finally stopped and the sun is out. Hopefully by the time Brayden wakes up from his nap I will be able to take him to the playground. We are all still recovering from our busy weekend with the Somerville family that came in from Brooklyn, NY to visit with us. We had such a good time with them and can not wait for them to come back again. Brayden really took to Ray's girlfriend, Jen, he kept calling her "his friend." We took them site seeing in Annapolis, DC and Baltimore...also able to catch the Mets game in which they lost...go figure! I was in a wheelchair the entire time in DC, which was embarrassing but nice not to be in pain and not to have to hold everyone up. I am in the process of putting the pics up on our kodakgallery, I registered for it again and will be sending you all the new link and password soon. If I forget you feel free to shoot me an email and I will send it to ya:) I will try to update it a couple times a month, especially with the baby coming.

I am 22 weeks along now, more then half way there! The baby is pretty active today. She likes to kick me on left side of my belly. I had forgotten how wonderful the feeling was to have something you create inside of you moving. I only wish Joey could feel her really kick, it is just a short time away! I got through an entire week without a trip to the ER or having a bleeding episode. I am still in pain but maybe that is a good sign! I am still not into maternity clothes and holding tight to my Bella Band days! I love, love, love the Bella Band. This is a must gift for all newly pregnant moms. I am itching for another ultrasound to see how she is doing in there and to see if my placenta moves. Who knows by the end of the week you may be seeing new ultrasound pics if I have things my way!

My aunt in NY is having a small baby shower for me with family and friends. I am excited to be able to see everyone and spend time with them. I was skeptical about having a baby shower, since I already had many of them with Brayden. However, when we did the basement over we had to get rid of some things and we have nothing girly for the baby( clothes, blankets, etc). Although I have been hitting the sales racks at Carters and Children's Place...GREAT DEALS! I guess it is time to get some studying in. I have my big Praxis test for my teaching degree I have been working on next week, I am so nervous!
