The heat is on in August!

The month of August became hotter and hotter by the day. Seeing temperatures in the 100's for multiple days. The heat made us housebound for most of the time. It was too hot to swim, too hot to go to the playground, too hot for anything! We did make it to Brooklyn for Aunt Debbie's block party, which was a lot of fun like always. Other then that we did some shopping and did a few things with friends while trying to stay cool. We decided to begin the upstairs during this time. So far we have ripped up the floor in the spare room(babies room) and our bedroom, then laid down laminate flooring. We finally picked out a theme and have begun buying items for the room. We still need a color scheme for the babies room but ideas are finally coming to me:) Our bedroom is almost complete, we just need to put up new moulding. Next week I am going through all of our clothes and "junk"...time to get rid of some things to make room for baby and all the clothes she has! She is set from now until next summer, no joke!

I am 33 weeks pregnant, which means only 7 more weeks to go! It seems like yesterday I was walking by the Chinese restaurant in the mall and feeling nauseous, first sign I was pregnant. I had my Level II ultrasound last week and everything looks great. Finally I have a peace of mind and I know that our baby is coming and she is going to be healthy! Now all we need is a name. Which we have decided will probably not come or be announced until a day or two after her birth. I have found out that my pelvic pain is caused by SPD and I am not in physical therapy trying to get it better before I give birth. So far physical therapy is not working for me, but I am willing to keep trying.

Brayden is amazing like always. His personality, intelligence and demeanor is extremely impressive. He is everything his father or I could of hoped for. He is excited and anxious for the arrival of his baby sister and to announce that we are not a family of four(that is what he calls it). We have booked his birthday party for Oct 3rd at Chuckee Cheese. We decided to invite just a few of his close friends since my due date is 10 days later. Of course any family that would like to make the trip for the weekend is more then welcome to come. Along with trains, he has a new found interest in dinosaurs, especially T-rex. I took him school shopping and he is in 5T pants and shirts! I can not believe how he has grown! My mom was down for the past 5 days and took him shopping for his birthday and along with some other things she purchased him a scanopedia by Discovery Kids and a box set that included T Rex in it. He enjoys playing with it and is hoping to get more animals for his birthday. I caved and of course have purchased and given a few of his birthday presents early. I bought him a "big" boy bike, 16 inch one which he is able to ride pretty well. I also purchased him tickets to the famous Walking with the Dinosaurs show which will be in DC next month:) Now for the BIG news...Brayden starts preschool next week! EEEEKKKK! I think I am the only one handling it poorly. He is very excited about it. The preschool I enrolled him in he only has to go 2 times a week for a few hours, so before I know it he will be home:)

My mom and dad came down last week and left on Sunday. My mom went to a doctor down here regarding her illness and she got very good news that she had been given false information and mislead treatment options. Things are looking up for her and she is feeling much better about the situation. My in laws came down while they were here to help out with Brayden while we went to the doctors, they took him to a "surprise" which he had a blast at. Brayden loved having both his grandma's and grandpa's here at the same time. My mom and dad helped get some things done around the house, my handy man father:) While they were here we went shopping, out to dinner, Amish Market and a party at our friends house. My mom will be back when the baby is born for a month to help out, which will hopefully be here before you know it!
